Benefit Dinner and Auction

Our annual benefit dinner/auction will be on February 10th at the beautiful Ranch Golf Club starting at 6:30. We will have many great baskets, event tickets, golf, sports memorabilia, spa getaways, flying lessons at Hiller Aviation, and more! Great deals are sure to be found! And we have beautiful art projects done by our very own students that will be available that night. Their talent will amaze you. The price for the evening is $50 a person and includes a four course meal with Nothing Bundt Cakes for dessert. Our pizza bash for the kids will be here at the school run by the YMCA during the same time. (This is only open to children of parents attending the event.)
Teacher times this year are going to be auctioned off online (ebay style) so they will be available to anyone for bidding. How fun would it be for your student to have a special time with their teacher like a movie outing or “teacher for a day”. Look for information and the auction link to be posted here at the end of next week. Bidding will close on February 9th.

What is it? Under the Tuscan moon is a dinner/auction held by the PTA to raise funds for the school. These funds are
used to purchase technology, library resources, classroom supplies, arts programs and more. It also happens to be a great
evening out for the parents with a scruptious sit-down meal. But that is not all. The evening will start with a complimentary
wine reception (sponsored by the Vikas Patel family and the Locke Family) and bidding on an incredible array of silent auction items. There will be a
slide show for our entertainment featuring the kids working on their art projects for the live auction. Following that is the live
auction and raffle, and then we will have dancing to take us into the night.
The Silent Auction? Included in the silent auction are the themed classroom baskets, popular and fun Teacher Times, and
many donations from local businesses. These donations include things like Disneyland Resort tickets,
Tiger Woods Foundation PGA passes, Los Gatos Inn, Sharks and San Francisco Giants tickets, Sony
Electronics, Clarity Med Spa, a Wii and so much more. The baskets have been donated by the individual classes and
have themes like Chocolate Lovers, Coffee Lovers, Wii games, Valentines, date night, razor scooters, jewelry, I-pod, scrapbooking,
golf, wine-lover, and cookery. The teacher times are very popular and so memorable for the children to have a special experience
with the teachers that they will always look up to.
The Live Auction? The main feature of the live auction is the professional looking art that is created by our very
own children. They have been busy working on things like paintings, a copper frame, a pasta bowl, fabric art, and other pieces you will
be so amazed by. Also, we will auction off the coveted parking space at school, name the loop, and principal for a day.
The Pizza Bash?The Pizza Bash is the party for the children in the JFS multi-purpose room while the parents are at The Ranch. This party started
as childcare that the YMCA provids but adds the fun that the kids will want to be a part of. The cost is $10 that you will pay at the door
but you must include the kids in your RSVP so we have an accurate count. Only children of parents attending
UTM are allowed at the Pizza Bash. Also, you must fill out the waiver that is required by
the YMCA. Download the form now (click here) so you can print it and fill it out ahead of time. The time is 6:30 to 11:30. A fee is
charged if the children are not picked up before midnight.
